Theatre of oppressed season

	Ashtar for Theatre Productions and Training in cooperation with the EC and other local and international donors will conduct The Season of the Theatre of Oppressed Days “Building Bridges…Breaking Barriers” for the first time in Palestine to address social sensitive issues related to violence against women and youth using The Theatre of Oppressed (TO) as a social development tool.  Several international theatre groups from Brazil, Spain, Belgium and Germany in addition to Ashtar Theatre and another four local community groups that were trained by Ashtar will share the duty of promoting the idea of The Theatre of Oppressed in the various areas of the West Bank, targeting women, youth, university students and general audience in marginalized areas.  Activities will also include holding different workshops that will introduce various types of the Theatre of the Oppressed techniques.
