A Workshop in “Theatre of the Oppressed”

Led by: Julian Boal

Julian Boal is one of the co-founders of the Group of “Theatre of the Oppressed”, Paris. The group tackles through performances and workshops oppression linked to labor and work conditions. Julian is also a free-lance workshop leader. He has led workshops, on his own or as an assistant to Augusto Boal, in several Asian, European and American countries. He has also translated “The Rainbow of Desire” to French, and he is the c oordina tor of the new French edition of “Games for Actors and Non-Actors.” He is the author of “Images of a Popular Theatre.” He collaborates with many theatre groups that adopt this type of theatre all over the world.

Theatre of the Oppressed Workshop:

The workshop is an introductory workshop to the “Theatre of the Oppressed” games and techniques. The focus on this workshop will be on the “Forum Theatre” and the “Image theatre” techniques.

ورشة عمل حول "مسرح المضطهدين"

بإدارة: جوليان بوال

جوليان بوال واحد من مؤسسي مجموعة "مسرح المضطهدين"، باريس. تعمل المجموعة من خلال العروض وورشات العمل حول الاضطهاد المرتبط بالشغل وظروفه. وجوليان مدرب حرّ في الورشات أيضا، وقد أشرف على ورشات خاصة به، أو كمساعد لأوغوستو بوال في عديد من الدول الآسيوية والأوروبية والأمريكية. كما ترجم "طيف الرغبة" إلى الفرنسية، وهو منسق طبعة جديدة لكتاب "ألعاب للممثلين وغير الممثلين". وهو مؤلف "صور مسرح شعبي". كما يتعاون مع عديد من الفرق المسرحية التي تتبنى نمطه المسرحيّ حول العالم.

:ورشة مسرح المضطهدين

الورشة ورشة تمهيد في ألعاب "مسرح المضطهدين" وتقنياته. وسوف يكون تركيز هذه الورشة على تقنيات "مسرح المنبر" و "مسرح الصورة".
